No more monkeys jumpin on the bed

But no one said anythig about jumping in a crib. It's hard to have a bad morning when this is what you wake up to.

Sick baby boy

Mason was sick this weekend, I'm not sure who it was harder on Me or Mason. He was a cuddle bug, but had a very high fever and look several long naps. He's much better now and spent the morning destroying the living room ( I may be helped ). I never imagined it would be that difficult to watch him be sick. Dathan was the savior of the day, he is much better with a sick little boy than I am.
On a happier not, plans are underway for a birthday party for Mason and 2 of his cousins, they all have birthday's on either November 7th or 8th. It's going to be at a hotel with a big ol waterpark. It's going to be lots of fun!! Which reminds me I have to go rent rooms.

First Football Game and a Weekend at Grandma and Grandpas

We went to Damon's last first football game on Friday night, while the game didn't go as well as hoped, Mason sure looked cute in his new hat!! We also got a bunch of clothes from Aunt Krista, Mason isn't going to have to wear the same thing twice for the next year! Thanks Krista

Mason got to go stay with Grandma and Grandpa on Friday night so Dathan and I could go to the fair and stuff ourselves silly with greasy, yummy food on Saturday. Then we went to spend the long weekend on the farm. Grandma always has the best toys.

And makes the best dinner, on Sunday she made turkey and gravy which meant turkey and biscuits. Mason was a BIG fan! On Monday night we went to Damon's homecoming coronation, he didn't win, but it was fun to watch.

Corn on the Cob

Mason's favorite summer food is Corn on the Cob, well not so much the corn as the cob. It makes him a very messy boy.

Since I didn't have a baby to dress up cute for Halloween last year, Beaner got teh brunt on it, he didn't like it so much. I thought I would try again this year, while Mason thought it was great, Bean still wasn't a fan.

BFF's

Mason and Coco were playing this morning, it seems like they are finally starting to be friends. When we first brought Mason home, Coco wasn't sure about what to think of him. Slowly they have started to play more and more. Poor coco gets chased all over the living room, but he does get to eat everything that Mason drops on the floor, which is a pretty large amount. This is the first time they have really played when it's not Mason playing catch the puppy. I don't know that they will ever be they kid and dog combo that are inseperable, but at least they will be friends.

Mom and Dad left the house!!!

My friend Heather came to visit us this weekend!!! So we asked Dathan's cousin to come and babysit ( she hated it...yea right) and we went to wingfest, the wings were alright, the weather wasn't bad, but nothing can beat The Johnny Holm's Band. We were super tired the next day and just a little hung over, thats what 3 Mike's do to a girl who doesn't drink. Sad to see Heather go, but we got some cute pictures!!

Mason climbed into the laundry basket by himself, so I figured something funny would probably follow.

Grandma and Papa came to visit

Mason had lots of visitors this weekend. Grandma and Papa were here and on Saturday Aunt Ashley came to visit and later Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Damon were here too. He got spoiled rotten. We went out to eat and he ate more of Grandma S's dinner than she did I think. On Sunday morning, Grandma O was feeding him toast. On Friday he got to eat corn on the cob and he loved it. Dathan wasn't very happy will the diaper the next day. Ok here's the good stuff.

It's been awhile

So I kinda forgot about this until I got a new camera, now I'm all excited again. Mason is 9 months now, crawls, and pulls himself up and walks along the furniture, oh joy. Ok here's the good stuff, more pictures.

Hello and some updates

Mason is getting so big so fast, so I thought this would be a great way for everyone to see him grow! He is trying to figure out this whole crawling thing. It seems like either his front or back works, but not at the same time. Today he started trying to pull up on his play mat and it fell on him, he as laughing the whole time. He is sitting up alone now, for short times. His favorite place to be is sitting in his saucer in front of the door. He loves to watch Coco run around and just jumps and belly laughs at him.

He is doing really well after his surgery. The incision has closed up really well. It's way bigger than we thought it was going to be. At least 6 inches around the left side of his little belly. We have to go back on June 12 and get the stint taken out and then about a month after that to do another test to make sure it stayed open. Then we hopefully never have to see the Doctor again, and those were his words not ours. Ok I'll shut up now and show you some more cute pictures.
